(CBS) For the first time, Soldier Field will play host to a hockey game.
Actually, two hockey games. Intersport, a Chicago-based sports and entertainment marketing agency, and the Chicago Park District announced the inaugural Hockey City Classic Monday, an event that will pit Notre Dame against Miami (Ohio) and Wisconsin against Minnesota in a doubleheader.
A date was not announced, but Wisconsin?s hockey schedule has a game against Minnesota scheduled for Feb. 17 with time and location TBA.
A press conference will take place Wednesday at Solider Field to announce the details.
